    Offset was one of the most well-known printing techniques in the past. Offset is a technique in which an image is applied to an aluminum plate. These printing plates are exposed to pressure. That's why you need a separate printing plate for each color. These plates are then moistened and all non-exposed parts absorb this moisture, while the paint applied afterwards is only absorbed by the exposed parts.
